Ward and GGG'S team both know the deal- the fight won't happen until it's PPV caliber, and that won't happen until one of them lands a B-side PPV fight and wins. No network can afford it otherwise. That's totally different from a scenario where the contracts and purse sizes are settled and laid out, the deadline is set, and a beltholder simply walks away, dropping his belt and seven figure payday like Kid did with Korobov. And, with GGG, Korobov, and Lemieux vs Chocolate, there was no endgame planned. No collaboration to work towards the fight. The Kid's Kamp just didn't want it. Any of it. The fruitcake they brought to the Christmas party is rotting as they speak but they're still more concerned about what everyone else is bringing to the event to notice.
Thing is Ward, who has pretty much cleaned out his division and who said there would be nothing left for him to achieve at SMW after the Super Six and beating Bute (who he ducked), has been ducking fights in his own division and at 175 on the grounds that the opponents are unworthy even though they're some of the most worthy challengers out there for him. And even worse, he ducked them even though they had agreed to go to his hometown, a place where Mr. Excessive Holder/6'1'' Billy Goat Ward is allowed to fight to a rule book that he penned with his own hand. But Golovkin, who unlike Mr. I refuse to Travel because I Always Want Every Advantage all the Time (not least of all so I can foul the **** out of my opponents to my heart's content and keep wriggling out of doing additional testing - 3 or 4 times now - even though you said you wanted it implemented for all of you fights at least 4 or 5 years ago), has fought all over the world, fighting in countries Ward couldn't locate on a map if his life depended on it - from Germany x 16 or something (can't remember), Denmark, Ukraine, Panama x2, Monaco x, the US x 6 or something, and even once in his homeland too, still has plenty to achieve in his own division. Golovkin has had to make sacrifices that prima donna Ward (who has had everything handed to him on a plate yet still wants everyone to feel sorry for him) can only dream of doing. If Ward is so desperate for a fight against Golovkin let's see him make some concessions for once. Drop down to 160 or a catch weight of 164 or something (because we know you're way too small for LHW, since Kovalev and Stevenson burst onto the scene lol) and agree to head over to a neutral location like Kazakhstan or Germany for it, with three neutral officials and no American referee to allow you to cheat with impunity. Why do you need every single advantage in your favour to beat a MW hype job like Golovkin when you supposedly already hold plenty of advantages over him as it is?
Who is Qullin o yes a fighter that headlines shobox at best. If Golovkin manage to fights him, glovkin is the figther taking the risk not him.
If he loses to anybody but Ward his hype train will get derailed. Quillin doesn't have hype going for him in the first place and would be outsider from the moment the fight is signed.
I just call you ho's out on the facts because it seems like they don't matter when it's only about the agenda you're advancing. I'm here to keep you scanks honest.:smoke
quilln is my guy but he's acting scary to me. he has not done no where near enough to only fight super fights. quilln dont want to fight ggg or jacbos all he wants is cotto.
this is coming from the guy who ducked korobov for 1.4 mil. Low risk High reward there. Winky Wright school of boxing.
Yall can talk until these computers collapse but it won't change the fact that Quillin and GGG used the same criteria to explain why they didn't take a certain fight. All that explaining yall doing is just mumble jumble and window dressing. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Either he said it or he didn't.
He will fight Chavez at 168 on PPV because he is a draw but not Ward. Same thing as high risk, low reward.
Its pretty funny seeing you talk about that like it was put that way, or somehow even slightly relevant or comparable. GGG wont worry about making a fight that cant be made with a retired guy a division above him, somehow makes its way into a thread about how Quillin wont fight a live body :conf
Tired of hearing the dumb **** that comes out of Kid Undercard's mouth. There are people on this Earth who actually take him seriously. Idiots.
Quillin hee seems to really admire Cotto for his smart business move in fighting Martinez. Low risk high reward that was. BUT although I think it was kind of lame Cotto got the MW title like that, if anyone deserved a payday in boxing it was Cotto. The guy has seen it all, did fight multiple wars, and come back many times. He already has a legacy. Quillin still is getting started.
Did you hear quillin comparing his fight with HNN to Leonard -Duran saying it was a legacy building fight lmfao The man if either ret.arded or the new borat
