Why would SRL want to go from Welter to MW?
Why would BHOP wish to go from MW to LHW back to MW?
Why is there something called catch weight in boxing?
No one said the fight had to be a MW/SMW, although your beloved Boxing Rec still has Quillin listed as SMW.

You casual boxing fans seem to understand very little about boxing, but you sure know how to build up bums.

Quillin is still up-and-coming. Bute should be looking for bigger fish to fry. Not someone who's not even ready yet.

I think some folks on here are being overly critical of Quillin. I like the kid. He's game, hits hard, and has shown a willingness to progress.

Can he beat Sergio or Pirog at this point? I doubt it, but he has time to improved and develop.

he is sharp, but I didn't see a huge puncher. He looks like a sharp fast counterpuncher. Similar to Jermaine Taylor but more cautious and he doesn't look like he can put on much weight for some reason.

Come on, we know Bute is not fighting the best guys, but fighting Quillin would be a waist of time for him. He should not even be in title contention at this point.

Peter got good power. He is not one punch KO hitter but if he lands 3 clean shots in a span of 5 secs, you'll go down.
