    This is a BS regulation.
What if Loma was the champion and Salido was the challenger, then Salido would miss the weight and knock Loma the hell out, how can we strip the champion of his belt whilst he's been beaten by the guy a class heavier?
Go go Andy, get rid of this disgrace for us, please.

Probably because he's a natural SMW... he's more less as big at MW as Canelo is at JMW.

Mr. Haymon's a mastermind. Possible conspiracy theory:

    a. Could simply have Mr. Chocolate refuse to make weight.
    b. Lee won't back out (pride and some extra $$$ to go through with it)
    c. his fighter goes in with a size advantage knowing Mr. Lee's kryptonite is bigger fighters who can grind him down.

The belt becomes vacant, with a fight between the two highest WBO rated fighters- Mr. Saunders and Mr. Jermall Charlo, who is, conveniently, a Mr. Haymon fighter. Mr. Chocolate maintains an unbeaten record.

I don't even dislike him at all. I just can't even though, as you say, he's done plenty to test all our patience.

Does the belt become vacant though?

A few years ago Purdy was overweight for his fight vs Devon Alexander, and here's whay Dan Rafael said about it:

Sad thing that he will have the edge during the fight , because Lee wont cancel the fight and he DID make weight probably draining himself abit, i hope he gets a big fine from his purse if the fights goes on , i dont see a chance of the fight being cancelled , big hit to PBC if it does

this could be part of haymons plan, have a guy with no title defeat a title holder then have quillin hold the pbc belt, to legitimise it:lol:

its retar.ded but i wouldn't put it past them
