Haymon and Schaffer have other plans. They may push for the Taylor fight again and then Jaccobs. On top of that, GGG or Quillin would have to get permission from their networks to go to the other fighter's network.

GGG-Quillin is wishful thinking for this year. I'd be happy to see how Quillin would match up with Proksa (should he look good against Mora) or Rosado. Andy Lee could also be a future match up with Peter.

Quillin's power seems to be overrated. N'Dam had been dropped previously by Lorenzo and Khurtsidze, while McKewan was coming off a brutal KO by Lee, and Wright was coming off over a two year layoff after a thrashing by Paul Williams. Before that Peter was taken the distance by chinny guys like Echols & D.Miranda. And the version of Brinkley that fought Quillin was abysmal. Everytime Peter punched him, Jessie's whole body jiggled.

Meantime Golovkin is dramatically stopping guys who haven't been stopped like Ouma, Simon, Proksa, Ishida. And for Peter to say Golovkin struggled with Rosado, a fight that Golovkin won every round prior to earning the stoppage, what did Peter do with N'Dam? Had it not been for the knock downs on a fighter he couldn't finish off, he was being outboxed every round that didn't have a knock down. I like both guys and look forward to this fight down the road when it possibly has enough hype for a ppv.

 there's more chance of Jesus flying from the sky with the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse than the coward going anywhere near GGG.

he'll duck for as long as he can.

Waaay too soon for the chocolate one. He has too many holes in his defense.

I do think he could give Golovkin a good challenge in the future. Maybe a year or two from now, if he tightens things up.

GGG manager said in a interview that he is in a neutral position with regards to who and where he can fight, he can fight against any promoters fighters and any network. They are not locked in yet with anybody. HBO only has him signed for a handful of fights.

He also has to be one of the worst finishers i've ever seen.... He had N'dam hurt so many times but he couldn't get him out of there. despite all of those knockdowns the fight was actually kind of close!

I thinks a 50/50 fight. I think both have the power to KO the other. I guess who lands the big one first wins.

Damn I didn't know Golovkin was fighting under K-2. No wonder the Wlad nutlickers are hyping him. I wonder if Wlad is jealous that Golovkin fights on primetime HBO while Wlad fights on epix a channel no one has. Lets see if Golovkin wins tonight first.

If Quillen ever gets in the ring aside from a controlled sparring session
with the kazak KO king, he takes a nice little nap right in front of
everyone in attendance. I've been saying all along that kid chocolate
is a KO waiting to happen. That's why he keeps getting fed light hitters
i.e. N'dam and even worse guerrero. Quillen is good in the pocket with his
combos and packs a punch, but he has no idea how to set up a smart
opponent for his shots and GGG has to high a ring IQ.
Easy and early highlight reel KO for the man with the 3 G's.

It's kind of hard to say if Quillin is ready or not but if I was his manager I would avoid putting him with GGG right now due to the fact that Quillin is a young champion and you want to market him as much as possible before decide to put him against an opponent that is extremely dangerous. I would rather see GGG fight Chavex JR/Martinez to be honest !!!

Golovkin has trouble getting big fights without the politics and a match with Quillin would require an additional barrier to resolve, so this match is less likely.
