Until Paul Williams Got A Hold Of Him....

I never thought about that until now...

pw ko'd someone who's never been ko'd before and did it pretty easily..

    pretty impressive imo

You're mistaken. Actually Cotto beat him to sleep also. But that doesn't negate how impressive a knockout it was.

i think Joel Julio also hurt and dropped him before Quintana jumped on the proverbial "bicycle" , nonetheless cotto broke quintana well before he beat williams,

Good one. :rofl :rofl :rofl Quintana was lesser of a fighter after Cotto beat him. So what does that say about Cotto now that Margarito "put that head to bed"???? :huh

Say what you want, but Quintana was a confident (not arrogant) fighter when he came to Connecticut. Paul gave him some **** that he had never experienced. That 3-piece would have stunned anyone. When we heard that ****, everyone in the crowd was like "OOOOOOOOOH!" Then Peedee jumped on his ass with the quickness! Don't try to minimize what he did.

Im not trying to minimalize anything, just pointed out that Quintana had been hurt more than once and stopped before. Williams is a great fighter and i will give credit were it is due. But beating Quintana was not exactly an amazing feat for a guy who rough up Margarito , it was something he was expected to do both times but i think he underestimated carlos the first time around.

Williams is a seriously dangerous contender in boxings toughest division. Obviously not unbeatable, but will give anybody hell anytime, and seems to have Margarito's number.Floyd would never fight him in a million years.

I was impressed with Williams in the Quintana rematch. I did not know much about PW other than seeing him fight a couple of times and was not sure if he would make the adjustments to win the rematch. The KO was very impressive, no doubt. Any time you can avenge a loss that way it speaks well of you.

    It was impressive

Even though it took him two fights to actually do it.
