While yer right, I don't think Arum is behind this one. Quintana is a Dibella fighter I think.

Yeah I know that, just saying that Arum did a masterful job starting it with Margarito. Don't you notice it has been going HARD for many fighters after that circus?

I know it has always been there but lately it's beyond typical.

It's because most guys don't bother to delve into the political tomfoolery behind the business. They just ssume fighter A is ducking fighter B or that figher c is "avoided".

Unfortunately it's as prevalent as ever who runs things in boxing.

Well for one Quintana can always say "I got caught cold", "What I did was more impressive, I outboxed you for 12 rounds" etc etc etc.

Not to mention marketing rule of boxing 128 Section C, If it happens at a new weight, the past doesn't exist.

Quintana balked in the post-fight conference when asked if he wanted a rematch. He said something like "I don't know, that will be a tough call"

    You snooze you lose.

Yet I'M the guy who talks like a promoter :lol::lol::lol:

Point is I'd prefer that fight over Williams and Quintana sitting around drinking beer and watching Sanford N Son reruns.

Cintron-Quintana is a match I'd be more interested in watching.

That does have a masochistic sort of appeal. I wouldn't mind seeing Williams vs Cintron at 54 either.

So you're saying a 12 round decision is more exciting than a first round knockout?

Are you a John Ruiz fan?

Rematch would prove not a fluke.

I'm just showing you things Quintana could say to try and negate the 2nd fight and drum up interest for a 3rd fight.

You either misinterpreted what I said or you're just not very smart.
