Nice performance by Carlos Quintana. I don't know how the hell Harold Lederman had Williams winning that fight. I also happen to think that if Floyd Mayweather or Migual Cotto were in there tonight they would have killed Williams. A great performance nonethelss. Quintana found a nice home for that left hand, and for a southpaw, hits pretty good with the right as well. It should be interesting to see if Quintana ends up back in the ring with Cotto.
Really? He landed more in almost every round. Avoided PW jab and made his head a bobble doll with the left. Im not sayin it was a blowout, but the scores were on.
Williams just didn't look nearly as dedicated as I thought. He landed some good shots, but it looks like he had no game plan at all. Quintana won that one. It was close, but he won.
Great performance By Quintana. He hasn't been active since the Cotto fight and he did it. I'm really happy he didn't get robbed by the more marketable fighter. Beautiful!
I will be very, very suprised if their is not a HBO rematch on this...they can't have PW lose. If Cotto would have been in their with this version of PW...lights out in 6. Also, assuming this PW was as foccused as the PW that fought Margarito...what does this really say about Magarito?? Berto looked fabulous...watch him...he is the future.....
Quintana looked very good & he was very tired. maybe not by as many rounds as they gave him, but i think he won no doubt.
