According to boxrec Carlos Quintana vs Eromosele Albert is on for january 16th in Key West Florida.Should be a good one.Quntana trying to get back in the big picture. After what Kirkland did to him I wonder if Albert is still the same.

Quintana is sure taking it easy in his comeback. Eromosele Albert he who was blown away in a round by the questionable chinned James Kirkland scored a draw recently with tough but well past it Ossie Duran, barely scraped by Dorian Beaupierre and was even beaten by Julio Jean early on in his career. Quintana will take him to school in the early rounds before KOing Albert inside 6 rds.

I knew that, this fight is a little step up but still should be an easy win for the former Welterweight Champ. He is a considerable step up skillwise from anyone Albert has faced so far and Albert is a non-puncher.

    i love quintana
i'm really hoping he gets another title shot soon
i think he's underrated-esp since his lose to PW-and i think because of that lose they totally disregard his first win over the punisher
i rekon he's got all the tools to become a champion again-he just seems to have a problem with pressure fighter i.e. cotto and williams in their second fight

Agreed, he schooled Joel Julio, okay so thats not so difficult for a skilled fighter but still he avoided the power and dealt him his 1st loss. He beat an over confident Williams but a win is a win. I still think Quintana can make noise at Light Middleweight and look forward to seeing him fight for another World Title either at 147 or 154lbs hopefully soon.
