It's debatable that Williams got lucky with the punch itself, but Williams was more than lucky/fortunate that Quintana did such an unbelievably bad jab of protecting himself after he got hurt. There are people with no combat experience at all who would have done a better job of covering up then Quintana did. That was one of the worst displays of punch drunken non-evasive manuevering in championship boxing history.

 

Floyd for being greedy? Floyd accepted the Marg fight For 8 mil. All he wanted was 10 mil for Hatton and Cotto. Didnt you read?

Arum was trying to give Floyd cotto and Hatton for 7 mil. He was giving less for more poular fighters. Does that make sense to you Honestly?

You and i know damn well that if he is going to give Floyd 8 mil for Marg who was not more Know than Hatton and Cotto that he could easily find an extra 2 mil for cotto and Hatton. You cant deny this.


Arum also didnt want to make the oscar fight because

How can a promoter say that a fight that did 2.4 mil didnt have enough money in it for him.


So how is Floyd being greedy because he asked for 2 extra mil for 2 more popular fighters?

And not to mention that with hatton and DLH that Floyd made more than he was asking Arum for and Arum didnt get anything because Floyd left. Arum looks like an ass now.

Fights like these are hard to judge, i wouldn't call it luck necessarily, just one of those moments where lower chance scenarios play out.

The problem is it is hard to utilise for future predictions, as even though it was destructive, it is such a limited time frame that it is harder to draw conclusions from compared if he was to win a shutout in the rematch and box Quintana's ears off.

 

what do the clips show that he said he was going to fight marg? to you know the time frame of the clip? Im going to guess you dont based on your ability to understand what's in your face.

The clip means nothing because when it came down to negoiations Arum ****ed up. The fight cant happen if a promoter is not willing to make it especially when the said promoter promotes both fighters.
