Nah it doesnt. The only time Cotto became a viable opponent was after the Mosley victory. Floyd retired after the Hatton fight which was one month later. What other time could he have fought cotto?

No answer on the Marg situation though right?

    Completely false.
Quintana did want a rematch and Williams doesn't want to fight his daddy again.
He knows he got lucky in the second fight after having the **** beat out of him for a full 12 rounds in the first fight.

Williams should have to fight a rubber match with His daddy before he is ever given another shot at Margarito ( his other daddy)

Should have fought Cotto after the Mosley win. He knew Cotto was building his name up and he knew eventually he had to fight him so he retired. He still could have fought Margarito. Like I said the offer didnt go no where. He chosed an easier fight in Baldomir.

I do so hope the rematch with Margarito happens.
Although I won't be able to see the looks on the faces of the people on this forum who fantasize about having their lips wrapped around the pecker of tall skinny freaks with legs like bean poles, after Margarito stops him.

But hey, I wouldn't want to see that anyway. Ewww

after the Mosley win that alot of people dont even feel he won? He retired at the end of 2007 which was about 3-4 weeks after cotto's win. He beat Hatton and retired.

What you are saying is all speculation about whether he was scared or not. Its pretty much nonsense really because he expressed the desire to fight him before.

He still could have fought Marg?

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million. Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

Why fight DLH like he wanted to after the Hatton fight when Cotto was waiting in the wing. Cherry picking for easy money.

He could have fought Margarito instead of Baldomir but chosed the easier opponent.

It might have been a lucky shot, and it might have not. A rubber match would for sure shine light on whether it was lucky or not. Quintana gave no respect to Williams, and it backfired. I think Quintana was hoping to KO Williams in the first and end PW's career. If Quintana goes back to the way he fought in the first fight, in and out quickly, I think he stands a good chance of cutting up Williams again and beating him. There should be a rubber match, because of the way Williams was cut up.

You are making this easy. He didnt fight DLH after Hatton he fought Hatton and retired. He clearly didnt want to fight DLH again because he declined. So what is your point again? I must of missed it.

How can you say fight someone like he wanted to. That **** doesnt even make sense. Read what you wrote and correct it.

I don;t know about "alot" of people but I watched Mosley Cotto several times and tried my best to justify that Shane won, and could not do so.
I love Shane Mosley and thinks he's awesome for the sport of boxing.
He fought a hell of a fight that night but he did lose.
No matter, I'm still a huge fan of Shanes.
