    :huh

I thought the score was 119-110???

He didn't win but 2 Rounds... Quintana won 7.

:lol::lol: Joking... Before everyone jumps all over me. Seriously, martinez is a much better fighter than Quintana for several reasons. Paul has moved on from the Quintana level. Detractors just need to deal with it.

Yeah don't put too much emphasis on the word fluke though. It doesn't matter "fluke" or not he knocked him out in 1. That's all that matters.

Obviously (rudyard), I can't know 100% sure if it was a fluke but it's a forum to discuss things, like fantasy fights, we can never know for sure. Just that the probability of a KO1 being a fluke is higher than a 12 UD.

You posted what I was about to post...I dont think either was a fluke...Paul didnt even spar with any southpaws his first meeting with Quintana, and we say what happened...I thinks its more of Paul taking Quintana lightly...He underestimated Quintana and got his ass did in for it...He then comeback, focused in his training and KO'ed Quintana...I mean if you throw a punch with the intent to hit somebody, how can that be a fluke!

Babilty, I only asked you that question because I dont feel either was a fluke win...They both got beat by the better man that day!:good

Something I do remember was Quintana was landing well and doing things he did in the 1st fight in the 2nd fight and I thought he was winning the round and then bang he's out.

Winning 8-4 or 7-5 as Quintana did is NOT a schooling, and Remember Paul came on very strong as Quintana was fading down the strech of the 2nd half of the fight, PW is kind of overrated but there is no need for this BS.

Let these fools tell it, and the fight was like Hopkins-Pavlik...

Paul came on near the end, but couldn't get him out of there.

Sort of the same scenario; I don't think neither was a fluke. Quintana had a great game plan and Williams is prone to overhand rights...

In the second fight, Williams just smoked his ass. Plain and simple.

the word fluke is just stupid to be used in prize fighting.

Williams has a dangerous style with his high volume punching, dangerous for his opponenet and for himself.

Quintana I and II are a great microcosim for his career, which makes ur use of fluke even more stupid.
