surely you mean beating the tar out of the Punisher.

Alot of fighters have gotten the tar beaten out of them by Paul Williams and have no claim to fame so what you said makes no sense.

all this doesnt even matter, williams wasnt up for this fight, this is the last guy he gave a **** about fighting...all props to Sergio, and the people who said how good he was before hand, but he took a fight with a guy he was mentally not up for and went to war and fought the wrong fight with a guy that shirt, fast, slick....but its over...he gets the nod..move on and hope KP is up sometime in the spring....while a great fight this was, everyone wants to see Williams and Pavlik...

In the first fight, Paul fought from the inside. The second fight, he fought him in outside and had more leverage and knocked him out. It was a planned fluke LOL. serious it was no fluke.

Wtf. Frazier beat Ali, Foreman ko Fraizer but wait Ali ko Foreman? Shouldn't Foreman ko Ali? Cotto beat Mosley, Margarito ko Cotto but Mosley ko Margarito? :huh But lets be real. Williams didn't prepare well vs Quintana in the first fight. You can't tell me Williams had a great training camp when He didn't spar with a southpaw to prepare for Quintana in the first fight. Martinez is a much better fighter then Quintana and i hope Martinez vs Quintana happens down the road.

I'm sorry where was the hate? This is my opinion backed by others. When you go from the disparity of a 12 round decision to a 1st round knockout something is up. Williams got a lucky punch IMO, and the fight with Martinez just confirmed that fighting a slick southpaw that can opens up and boxes is basically like kryptonite to the guy.

It wasn't a schooling but he definitely won, and I thought Martinez definitively won as well.

Again with the hate thing. Unscramble those panties boys if you can't take some valid criticism for not even you, but your favorite boxer or whatever.

A 12 round decision takes a lot more work then a 1st round KO. In all honesty they need a 3rd fight.. but the fight with Martinez definitely backed the argument for the 2nd fight being a lucky punch rather.

Fluke, Lucky punch, however you want to say it. I'm saying that if they fought again my money is on it going the distance. And if they fought a 4th, 5th and 6th time same thing.

Lewis Rahman II wasnt a one round KO. Lewis showed he could easily outbox Rahman before knocking him out.

The thing with Quintana - Williams II was that only 1 round doesnt give a chance to show much that Paul could outbox Quintana and that the first fight was a fluke. He got the win and he deserves that but his KO win in the rematch made people forget that Williams can be outboxed.
