its not a fluke it went a full 12 rounds and he systematicly beat Paul in a boxing match. I am sorry but if it were a one and done shot to beat Paul you could say that, but he beat him on points, there is no fluke in that it ****ing happend.

No the better man just won that night...Williams only can blame himself for that loss...I remember reading he didnt even spar with any southpaws in his training camp...Williams took Quintana lightly and paid a price for it.

Nope, a fluke is more likely to be something like a first round knockout, this was just someone throughly executing a game plan.

As of right now I'm still not sure of my opinion, a part of me says it was a fluke because of how the rematch went down and a part of me says it was not a fluke because Quintana outclassed Williams for 12 rounds.

No, Quintana had a brilliant performance that night. Williams couldn't get off with his punches that night if his life depended on it. In the rematch he adjusted and prepared better to get Quintana out of there early.

Yea i read that too. What was Williams camp thinking of sparring with no southpaws?

Fluke. A focused and soundly prepared Williams would easily handle Quintana everytime. Paul didn't have the gas that night to make up for taking Carlos lightly.

Watch what Clottey will do to him.

A 12 round performance like that can't be a fluke.

But also I think it's clear Williams took him lightly the first time.

It's not a fluke Benny cause Quintana is a real good fighter. It was a big upset and Williams camp is the fault for Williams not sparring with Southpaws.

He earned the victory, but nothing like that is going to happen again for him.

:patsch Its crazy ray...I mean if you're going to fight a southpaw in a live boxing match...common sense would tell you to work with southpaws in training camp...Its not rocket science!
