Duran was losing. Some ppl thought he was still in it, but Ive watched those rounds so many times, I can see now possible way for Duran to win. His punches had lost steam and Ray had taken his best throughout the entire fight. NO MAS.........Smart move IMO.

Tyson was retired mentally. He'd been beaten, suspended, sued, addicted to drugs, he was done. The McBride fight was for money only. It carried no steam in advancing his career at the time, and he was barely hanging in the top 10 at the time. A worse quit job was the exhibition he quit against Corey T Rex Sanders. The crowd was really upset with that one, but Mike was hanging em up against McBride. No shame in that.

Vitali quitting while ahead by 8 points on the cards was the worst career decision he has ever made. With a title on the line, and fight with Tyson or Holyfield looming, the quitjob he pulled in that one was absolutely pathetic. I thought for the longest it was a wise move, but realistically, he very well coulda ran for the last 2 rounds been KDd X3 and STILL won a UD over Byrd.

Vitali should win the poll hands down.:rofl

So your saying that was Duran's "I don't deserve to get beaten up like this " moment?
