To be fair Lucian Bute fits the agenda. Even though he was a hype job that froze under the pressure and made Froch look like a World Beater.

Definitely a few fans waking up to Hearn not being all as first appeared.

Think the same will happen with fighter-through in activity and getting screwed over. George Groves now has first hand experience of the later & will be interesting if he signs up with Eddie again.

Fact is, he wasn't signed with Hearn for this fight - his deal had expired.

If Hearn had foreseen the way the crowd would swing from Froch to Groves during that fight, Howard Foster might have had a different pre-fight pep-talk...

Hearn backed the wrong horse then. Hearn's loss.

As I said, cant see George ringing up saying:
"Hey Fast Car. Lets forget what happened Saturday & my unbeaten record being taken by you & Howard Foster. Can you promote me & I'll give you 10% of my future hard earned?"

George Groves can sit now & let the public call for a rematch. Doesnt leave Carl, Eddie & Sky with many options.

HE was no hype job, just because Froch dismantled him doesnt mean he was a hype job.

He was highly rated, won bronze at the worlds as Amateur and had a very good CV coming into the Froch fight.

I know some aint happy with satuday, but dont revise history

His record looked great on paper, but his only fight outside of his adopted home of Canada was in Romania - his country of birth.

Being a great champion isn't just about being a great boxer. His arse fell out in Nottingham.

IMO he wouldn't of lost the fight in Canada. He completely froze and looked like he had no tactics.

All i ask is that Howard Foster is continually booed and reminded of what he did every time hes near a boxing ring.

I hope boxing fans never let him forget it.

He's already shut his facebook account down.

He'll always get a warm reception in Nottingham though, where there are all really grateful for how he "saved George Groves' career" on Saturday night.

Bute was a good solid fighter but didn't have that cold hard ******* image that guys like McClennen, Lacy, Kessler and Kovalev had coming to this country for the first time. Infact Bute came to England with more of a wimper then a bang, he just seemed like a gangly smiling muppet wheras guys like Lacy, McClennen and Kovalev looked like they wanted to murder someone.

Bute's bubble was pretty much burst against Andrade when he was all but knocked out by Andrade in the 12th rd so i knew then he wasn't all that plus after Froch lost easily to Ward loss it was a fight that Hearn didn't really have any choice but to make.

It's a bit unfair to say Carson Jones is a powder puff puncher. He was on a run of like 11 straight stoppages in America before the Brook fight, where he hurt Brook a fair bit.
