his 'rightful place'. how do you know what his rightful place? yeah he has little to no skill or nuance, but neither did Margarito and he beat a couple of top-line fighters. Froch has the same kind of persistance AND doesn't need cheat wraps to do it. You're obviously a hater.

'Rightful place' what are you, an Allan Green fan???:deal

I HATE it when people confuse technical supremacy with being the better fighter - it's so miopic!!!

    WAR FROCH!!!!!

Hope he wins not confident of it though. See how he looks against Dirrell. I'd love him to fight Kessler in Nottingham aswell, that would be ****ing sick.

That's obviously my prediction of where Froch will fit into the division in the not too distant future. Allan Green loses to all six of them. Decisively losing to Miranda does not make you a SMW elite, the guy needs a reality check. I think its difficult to use Margarito as a comparison since the guy has been found guilty of adding hardened substances to his gloves. I don't equate skill with boxing ability, there is clearly more to boxing than a set of technical maneuvers. I just think Froch fights like a guy out the front of a pub after 15 beers. I think the other SMWs will exploit this much the same way Taylor did for 11 and 9/10th rounds.

Kessler....because he's beeter than the other five! :viking

No one in this tournament has the ability to exploit what little flaws Kessler has.

People talk like it was a shut-out before the KO...it wasn't!!

In a sense I agree with you, and in all honesty I picked Taylor against Froch and don't think a huge amount of Carl. I see him making the semi's and dependent upon the draw...maybe the final. But I seriosly doubt he'll win this thing.

However, there is this "technical snobbery" floating about in boxing, where if you're not fast and flashy, people think you're very beatable. People used to say the same thing about Chavez and it simply wasn't true!!!

I think abraha is being underrated here tbh, the guy is patient, he measures his opponent over the first few rounds alot like kessler and then WHAM he strikes. I think Direll looks very panicky when he is backed up by a brawler and his head seems to jerk back away from the punches ala Ali; very dangerous.

Abraham has concussive power and i feel he'll do well in the tournament. Fight of the tournament, Froch vs Abraham.

I hate it when people assume you think something that you don't. Boxing isn't only about technical supremacy, that's what makes it such a great sport. Seeing how the battle between heart, guts, tenacity, poise, strategy and skill plays out has always been what boxing is about. Seeing a fighter overcome clear technical disadvantages to impose his will on his opponant is a sight to behold. But it should also be kept in mind that once you're talking about elite level fighters they are rarely lacking in any of those departments. Therefore what separates them is often their physical and technical ability.

I think Kessler wins it,first of all because i think he is the best boxer. But also because he HAS been in big fights many times 7 worldchampionship fights.
    One loss in 41 fights.
So if he is 100%,then he will win it!

True, it wasn't a shut-out, but it was heading for a comfortable decision for Taylor. Taylor definately faded, backed-off or was worn-down by Froch (depending on which way you want to look at it) after the KD. For me what was really telling though was the ease at which Taylor was landing on Froch and the lack of anything substantial coming back from Froch in those first few rounds. Taylor was landing at will in those early rounds. It looked like a mismatch. Credit to Froch for coming back from that start.

Ward is similar to Calzaghe, and Kessler had a lot of trouble with that guy. Ward is going to move in and out and has the better handspeed. The Son Of God also has better foot and hand speed than Dirrell and Taylor IMO, which is why I'm picking him to win the tournament.

Froch or Kessler will win this IMO. Abraham is unproven at the weight esp against this type of opposition, Froch has already dealt with Taylor and the Olympians are in way over their heads at this level. Froch and Kessler in final.
