Will Dillian duck another world title chance?

If he does then the ounce of respect I have for him will also be ducking out.

Can see this, hearn spinning it's unfair we couldn't win the purse bids as Frank and Fury had done a deal. Frank's accounts have x in bank, how can we trust the payment. And Eddie's casuals will lap it up.

The reaction from Hearn yesterday was absolutely bizarre. Have you ever seen a promoter so angry over TWO of his fighters being given title fights?

Maybe he knows something we don't and neither Joshua nor Whyte are in a position to fight anytime soon.

I think Hearn came in at the 11th hour and tried to squeeze a bit more step aside money for Whyte and AJ.

Fury has told him to do one and called his bluff.

And then Hearn has bid big on the fight expecting to win it and hasn’t come close.

He also knows TR who are co-promoting have a decent chunk of change and can help provide the guarantees etc.

Bad day indeed for Hearn and Matchroom.

The icing on the cake is that both are heavy underdogs as well. I think if you offered him 1 win 1 loss right now Hearn would snap your hand off

I am 50/50 if Whyte will take it. Getting guaranteed £5.5m against Fury, when he nearly got £5m for going on furlough.

Not sure what happens with the arbitration but the fact Whyte wouldn't even negoatiate suggests he wont be happy with the money. Maybe hes waiting for that.

Its not a good look all this, seems both Whyte and Joshua really wanted that step aside.

I hope Whyte doesn't bottle it, but I'd have to laugh if he does.
Just imagining these Matchroom FC and Fury hater cretins on this forum, if Whyte bottles it they will blame Fury .... it's been going on for weeks now.

Surely Whyte's got to take this payday though.

The worrying thing is, Whyte's been suing the WBC since mid 2020, before he even was sparked out by Povetkin. It's become a way of life for him, I guess.
The legal beef between Dillian and the WBC is much more than this latest episode with the split.

I don't know how much Dillian even wants to be a boxer any more.

No idea about the ins and outs or even how many actions he has taken. Just know he wouldnt negotiate at 25% and is now getting less. Such an odd situation but this is the state of boxing

I’d be fascinated to see how @Mitch87 spins it - not fascinated enough to want it to fall through though!

That’s a good point actually. This could genuinely be an issue for him if they want a late March (unlikely) or April date.

I think the barrage of publication from the Fury/BT/TR side is all tactical somehow.
