Amongst others, he beaten Mickey Walker, Jimmy Slattery (3 times), Ted Kid Lewis, John Henry Lewis (3 times), Pete Latzo, Jim Braddock, Tiger Flowers, Dave Shade (twice), Allentown Joe Gans, King Levinsky, Frank Moody, Al Gainer and Joe Sekyra. Lost to Harry Greb, Jack Delaney and Young Stribling (twice). 2 Questions: 1: Who is he? 2: Is this quite limited list (on purpose) enough for you to rank this fighter high in your p4p list, and if so, how high would you rank this ATG?
I Really enjoy both of your post but by chance are you both the same person? You make the post then answer your own question? Your Avatars are similar, your abstract way of spelling is similar not to mention Nosferatu is the unofficial 1897 Bram Stoker Dracula. Interesting..
Slapsie Maxie? Rosenbloom beat John Henry Lewis three times I’m pretty sure. And I know he lost to Greb. I’m not sure how high I’d rank him. He was somewhat inconsistent, which might have owed to his style (I gather he wasn’t easy on the eye) and lack of power (which makes his win total all the more amazing as he had to win decisions — didn’t have the equalizer if he got behind). But his record is remarkable in how prolific he was, how often he fought great fighters and the accounts he gave of himself in many of those fights.
No, we are definitely not the same person. Plus, the premises you used to build such an argument are not only weak because they are based on weak assumptions coming from mere naive suspicious, but also illogical because you fail to give any valid reasonable points to sustain what you defend. The use of the expression "if so" and a suspicious mindset based in fiction.... ...Mate...
No but funny theory, not sure what Bram Stoker has to do with the other user though Glad someone finally gets the Nosferatu reference
I will give you the benefit of the doubt considering I was highly under the influence last night when I came up with my illogical naive suspicion. Lol. Anyway, welcome to the forum
Psst! Have you checked the times when our good friend @Nosferatu posts? If ONLY by night, never by day....well, it would cause one to reflect (especially if that's something he also can't do) but I won't put any nails in any coffins just yet.
Hey Pugguy, no I haven't had time to check @Nosferatu posting times yet, I was busy inventing Digitized Holy Water just incase. LMK if you need some.
Will do. I'm already wearing a garlic necklace. Problem is, I could barely read your post due to my eyes badly watering. Heads up: Do not chop up the garlic before stringing it. I'm a newb at this stuff. Still, I know enough to have my silver bullets also on hand. Bring it on Prince of Darkness.
This is a weird coincidence...earlier this morning I was driving through Santa Carla when I stopped off to buy a comic book in a comic book store. There were Two Coreys one of which passed me a comic named "Destroy All Vampires" Im reading it now....
