I don't like Calzaghe but the hate he recieves is beyond the point of absurdity. America, you don't have to like his gay ass style or his arrogant personality (I sure don't), but you can't get to the point he's gotten to in his career if you're not a special fighter. Look, we all called him out and said fight Lacy....he did and gave Lacy a savage beating. Than we all pissed and moaned about him stepping up and fighting Kessler...he did that too and won decisively. You don't have to like him, but he deserves a little more respect than some of you give him. Do I think he should fight Pavlik? Sure, but if wants to take a bigger, less risky payday for his last fight, so be it. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Say whatever you want about Calzaghe, he's still the undefeated Ring Champ and Bernard's daddy.

He is average enough to OWN Bernard's overrated ass inside those ropes.

    Now that's bull****.

If there are thousands better than Calzaghe then where the **** are they?, Calzaghe is a special fighter who is very gifted, no one can take that away from him. The only issue with Calzaghe is not fighting the best at the right time, apart from that his skills and abilities are already proven.

Meh. Personanly I think he managed to scrape by on a pretty minimal aresonal.

You're right, he did narrowly edge by a 43-year-old Bernard Hopkins. Congratulations to Joe Calzaghe on that one. HOWEVER, as I said before I have yet to see anything impressive inside the ring, and his victory over Hopkins is no exception.

In fact, I think if you were to look at ONLY video of his win over Bernard, you would be forced to agree with me that he's nothing special about this guy. Then you factor in Bernards age...
