Jean Pascal could pull it off although unlikely. I think it's more a matter of which version of Dawson shows up in the ring that night.

Pascal's best bet is to take the fight to Dawson and get him out of his comfort zone which consists of effectively establishing distance against his opponents.

 

The funny thing is, Dawson will never make as much money as Pascal could. The Canadians are lucky they have a true warrior fighting for them. Despite the fact he could make money like Erdei did, he's going for the best. He is a different breed to people like Dawson.

If he's fit, I think he beats Dawson but I expect a lot of ring rust. It's bad match making.

Yeah, when he gets smoked it will be the ring rust, not the fact that he is no where near as skilled as Dawson. Dawson has skills that could carry him for another 10 years at the top. If Pascal fights more than one or two times a year for the next few years he is going to end up eating fruit loops for three meals a day and laughing at his own reflection.
