It should have been. On the other hand his fight with Cruz was stopped prematurely so that really SHOULDN'T have been a TKO, so he'd still be stuck at one.

You're ****ing crazy. If there's one thing Mosley is good at it's beating the **** out of guys that stand right in front of him and let him unload.

You seen the fight? Wright kept Shane off balance all night with his jab. He could do it because he was a bigger guy. Clottey is not. Wright fought out of a shell, but he fought proactively. Clottey seems intent on letting guys wear themselves out hitting him. That won't work on Mosley.

you don't know he'd be stuck at one, since there were still 5 rounds left to the fight

Good point. I'll give him a potential 2, which is still pretty poor considering the level of competition he was facing for a lot of that stretch.

It's not always a resume that makes a fighter and in Clottey's case it certainly applies.

Comparing fighters and the level of difficulty they present at specific times:

-Clottey at 147 today is a tougher fight than the De La Hoya at 154 when Mayweather fought him.

-Clottey at 147 today is a tougher fight than Marquez at 147 when Mayweather fought him.

-Clottey at 147 today is a tougher fight than a completely drained Corrales at 130 when Mayweather fought him.

-Clottey at 147 today is a tougher fight than Judah at 147 when Mayweather fought him.

-Clottey at 147 today is a tougher fight than Baldomir at 147 when Mayweather fought him. (Baldomir was one of the most limited 147 champs in a while)

You're basing this on inside wisdom you recieved by listening to seashells or channeling deceased spirits? A win over Judah and a few valiant losses does not make you a superstart. Sorry.

    t'as tout compris

you can add to that that Clottey is a tougher fight than Hatton at 147

but at the same time you gotta factor that Clottey is fighting without his trainer in the corner so that will surely affect him negatively.

    No, your wrong.
I would take any of those guys Mayweather fought when he fought them over Clottey today.

    DLH>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Clottey
until clottey wins a big fight how can you say he is better than oscar?
he lost to a cotto that many claim that was washed up, shot, finished, etc.

Clottey is a very good welterweight contender. This guy is a great stay busy fight. He isn't in the same class as a Shane Mosley or Mayweather but you better not overlook him or you might end up leaving the ring with an L.

Nothing wrong with this fight for Pacquiao when your last 3 fights have been DLH at 147, Hatton at 140, and Cotto at 147.

Mayweather would have been critisized for this fight because his resmue above 135 has been buttersoft and he needs a big name fight in a bad way.
