Ortiz didn't quit against Khan from I read Khan built up a 20point lead, which in the amateurs is ruled a TKO

I just remember Manny Steward saying there was a tendency for Hispanic trainers to "overwrap" their fighters hands to protect them from getting damaged. He said that is why you see so few Mexican fighters with hand problems in proportion to American fighters. I just have to believe that if CA's commission had found something that absolutely ruled out that possibility, criminal charges would have been filed. I think they didn't want subject themselves to oversight in the event that they were wrong. Sitting on Margarito's boxing license would be far less likely to open their investigation to outside sources than sending charges to the DA

I would like for you to do some research before you claim he is clearly a liar.

if he is a liar 100% in your mind then answer these questions DO NOT Avoid them since YOU brought this up

    1) If his father Never left, Why would the two brothers be in foster care?

    2) if the father Never left, Why would the state allow Garcia to be his legal gaurdian?

    3) is it possible that the father of Ortiz is making his end of the story up now that its clear his son has done very well in this sport and is making money with Goldenboy?

    4) Why would a social worker that was interviewed by HBO lie on national TV about this story putting her career at risk?

Oh dear, not a great advert for Victor.

R Garcia seems genuine here and if its true that the whole of his family stopped talking to his brother after what his dad did for Victor that is a real shame on D Garcia.
