    man, what terrible news... and to go out like that, too. the boxing world is going to miss him. he left a great legacy.

    Terrible news. Just terrible. Boxing has lost a great fighter and a great man. The word gentleman isn't enough to describe what type of person Alexis Arguello was.

    Oh my ****! I just came online and saw the first thing I saw was this truly horrendous news. I can't believe it, I'm feeling devastated.

    Rest in peace, you'll always be a champ. God bless, always and forever.

    Last time I saw him on TV when he was carrying the national flag of Nicaragua in the Olympics opening ceremonies...

    RIP 'Explosive thinman'.....i watched you as a boy from FW to JW;brilliant fighter and all time great.:good
    The epic battles with Pryor:)admin), and you even took the LW title from our boy Jim Watt.
    He couldnt have lost his title to finer fighter or gentleman of the ring.
    Thanks for the memories Alexis....great loss to the sport by a legend.:cry:
