No need for him to retire not like he got beat by nobodys 3 of the best fighters at the weight

 

I understand where you are coming from but cmon dude, the last two fights he didnt even try to win, there was no passion, no determination, no nothing!
I live in Germany and i stayed up until the morning hours to see him fight, I supported him here in the forums, can I at least expect him to try to win?
All he is there for nowadays is the money, i remember when he came to Germany with nothing but a plastic bag, now he has villas, cars, even airplanes!
We, the fans paid for that **** and what do we get in return?
Can we at least expect him to try to win?
If he tries his best I don't care how many times he loses, I will still support him but he didn't even show up.

Its the same **** every time: big words, bad performance, dumb excuses.

Who did he lose to? Abraham could beat Bute, but cannot beat Froch or Ward due to style. Kessler I think he would beat in a rematch.

Terrible thread title!
If everyone gave up like the ts is stating AA should, then what would be the point of it all.
The man has only been beaten by the best and for me is still in his prime. Admittedly his losses have dented his confidence, maybe to the extent were he may never be the same again, but it is far to early to call it a day.
A change behind the scenes should be looked at in order to revitilise him.
Like Hatesrats said; "On to the next one".

I would agree if the fights would've went different and by that I don't mean AA has to win against Ward and Froch, but he has to fight. This is what he formerly did - he fought. His style was always the same, his style didn't change, but his heart and his self-confidence did. Today he's a guy just hiding behind his turtle shell and almost doing nothing else. Wrong game plan, lack of timing, lack of stamina, no self-confidence that's what makes it easy to say he should retire. If he would've lost against Taylor or even against Dirrell (without the foul) - no problem. In those fights he still took some risks and tried to win. Against Froch and Ward he just was a punching bag (except of the first two rounds against Ward). He needs to change his team in order to learn some new things and to regain self-confidence or he should hang them up.

 

Finally somebody that talks some sense...
