    May he rest in peace. Gave us boxing fans a lot of action throughout the 1970's with his all-out pressuring style.

    He was a tough,tough man and a throwback.All pressure and strong as an ox.The experts in the Classic will fill you in concerning him,I'm sure.RIP,Bad Bennie.

    Briscoe along with Frazier are the epitome of tough Philadelphia boxing. RIP.

    I remember Nigel Collins saying that he was a really good representative of the Philly boxing scene, and one of his personal all-time favorites.
