    R.I.P. Darren

Such a shame that a guy with so much potential should die so young.

Frank's had a mild heart attack i've heard since yesterday but he's fine according to my source. He's took it hard....i think Frank treated him like a new son in many ways.

    :good Thanks Mate

Lovely lad and at 16 he was a man...a gentleman with class and respect. He knew what he wanted to be and was going for it.

Sad to lose such a promising young man. It looked like he had so much ahead of him.

  8. I'm gutted. He was such a nice fella.

    R.I.P Dazzler.

I hope Frank Maloney's going to be okay as well, he was very close to Darren and I can't begin to imagine what he's going through having witnessed what he did.

Reading this leaves me empty to be honest. I dont know, maybe its my youth side coming true when i say i just dont understand why certain things happen, on the face value this person had alot going for him. Did he not realise what we all did, i genuinely had him no.1 choice in terms of the next Irish world champion at top level. He was a few years away from being a big worldwide name in boxing and a major draw for fans who would have loved his style

Its truely a sad day for many reasons, obviously we have lost a great prospect but on top of that it makes you feel helpless, because no matter how much you like or follow somebody you dont know them and have no say over there destination, even if you can predict what should happen.

Its a cruely reminder of how no matter how physically strong you are, its the mental goings on that can break you. It just crazy, because you'd imagine he was mentally strong being in a discipline for so long, boxing at a high level and then returning to study and get an education, his recent school grades show he was intelligent, he was mature it was obvious to see, people saw him appearing happy just last Friday on FFN.....i just cant get my head around this one at all
