IBRO just notified me that Davey Armstrong, former 1976 Olympic bronze medal winner and professional with a 24-3 record, just passed away at 64.

    I feel old. RIP.

Two guys from the '76 team in one week.

John Tate, Howard Davis Jr., Leon Spinks and now Davey Armstrong. Sucks.

I just read about how he got his start at the Tacoma Boys Club. Same place Ray Seales, Rocky Lockridge, Johnny Bumphus, and Leo Randolph started out. They must have had an amazing program there back in the day.
