    The fact that LaMotta lived so long despite the number of fights and wars he had is amazing. And he wasn't some slick, defensive virtuoso who could avoid being hit. He was a fighter that didn't mind walking through punches to land his own.

    Great fighter and great man, great LHW/CW and even okayish HW.

    5ft 6 short reach but awesome defense and good punch he had.

    None boxers get dementia as well. My dad got it at about 60 and died at 68. My uncle, dads brother has it now. He is in his seventies. None boxed, but had there share of street fights when they were young, now that i think of it .Sorry to hear of Qawi's passing. RIP Champ!
