Perhaps a career retrospective is in order. News based off of Harold Lederman's twitter account. Condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
He very well may be, seems logical. Could sing Too, very talented man. Defeated a host of very good late 50s, early sixties contenders.
http://youtu.be/A2UGEiwYFhI I crossed referenced the news on several social media outlets and it appears to be true. Here is a well done tribute to Mr. Terrell
It does seem odd that it still hasn't picked up on any news sites. However it is on Harold Lederman's twitter account(4hrs ago) Also Montell Griffins FB page from 7 hours ago and several ppl in the boxing community have offered condolences including hof ref Richard Steele. Few other fans have it on there page as well.
Yes it did. I'm searching now for more verification. It does seem legit but I want to get to the root of where it first was reported. A lot of people including myself may just be parroting a bad report.
Nice tribute,...except at the very end they how a picture of Zora Folley.....that's kinda sloppy for a tribute.
Strange. The other day I was looking at his profile and saw that he was up there in age. A well accomplished man. A world heavyweight boxing champion, singer, music producer and smart investor. A life well lived.
Solid boxer. He was better than his match with Ali suggests. Too big and long, he defeated smaller name boxers D. Jones, Folley, Foster and Machen despite not having a lot of power and being a little defensive.
Sorry to hear this. Good solid fighter. http://www.suntimes.com/31708914-761/former-heavyweight-champ-ernie-terrell-dies-at-age-75-fought-muhammad-ali.html#.VJHcIskaJVc
R.I.P. Very solid fighter. If there's an optimum time to boast of being the second-best heavyweight in the world it's probably when Ali was at his absolute peak.
