That's sad to read, it really is. Like Lockridge, Pedroza was a staple of those early fandom days of mine, and his fights were always on NBC. Such a privilege to watch him. A true craftsman and as great a featherweight as you'd want to see. He gives Sanchez a really hard fight if they'd met, maybe even beats him.

Barry McGuigan shared the sad news with his twitter followers today, he thanked Pedroza in an article saying he helped he attain 19 million viewers on British TV when the two fought each other in their iconic feather weight title fight that McGuigan won on points. Thoughts on Pedrozas career.

Mate there's already a thread for this,by Hanza.

Stop deliberately copying and hijacking other people's threads.

    Comment appropriately instead.

Somehow I don't believe that. Hanza posted hours ago and was top of the page.

Pedroza had a bunch of defenses.....so you have to give him credit for that. His foul-filled reputation was the negative side.

And by sad coincidence, just a few weeks after one of his greatest rivals, Rocky Lockridge. RIP Eusebio (and Rocky too of course).
