    I'm gutted.

On iPhone at work so if someone could post all the uber impressive footage of Chucho from YouTube I'd appreciate it, he deserves to get all the credit he didn't get when he was alive.

Brilliant fighter. Along with Medel, the most underrated Mexican great.

    That really sucks.

RIP to a hell of a fighter who was capable of hanging with anyone at his best weight and making their lives utterly miserable. RIP to one of the better bantams of all time.

Catillo Is New Bantam Boxing Champ

Twice a loser in title fights, Jesus "Chucho" Castillo cashed in on "my last chance" and reigns today as the world bantamweight boxing champ.

Rematch plans were already under way amid an argument of whether a punch or a butt ripped a cut over Ruben Olivares' left eye in the first round and eventually brought about his knockout in the Friday night at the Forum.

"I hit him with a right hand punch," declared Castillo through an interpreter. Olivares charged it was a butt.

Arturo Hernadez, manager of Olivares, said, "at first the cut was small, but it kept getting bigger as Castillo landed more punches on the eye.

At the end, when referee Young called a halt, Olivares bled profusely from the cut over his eye and one under it. Castillo had been expert in the later rounds in banging to the body to bring the guard down and then sharpsooting the wounded eye.

Seriously, Castillo showed in that fight and against Cruz that he might be the best at fighting when being pushed back and leaned on by the bigger man. Awe-inspiring skillset.

I learned a new word: "gutted". I'm gutted that I didn't know that slang.

RIP to the guy that Rock'n Rubin couldn't Ko in three 15 rounders.

That's some stat' ain't it? Over 45 rounds and Olivares was the man stopped and dropped.

Chucho was one tough hombre. R.I.P. champ. I was always impressed that he decked Olivares twice and was never put down by Ruben at all.
