1992 Olympic Silver Medalist from Kingston, Ontario, Canada died in hospital last week at age 47 from apparent organ failure.

Not a big name compared to the likes of Arguello, Gatti and now Forrest, (only went 4-1 as a pro, before retiring to open his own boxing club), but was a decorated amature, Olympic Silver Medalist and long-time fixture on the Canadian National Team.

Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Yet another ring warrior gone too soon. :-(

    R.I.P. Mark. :bbb

Lived about an hour drive from me. Canadian boxing needs all the support it can get, this is sad news. RIP.

Incredible. I sat up each night and taped 7 hours of boxing from the '92 Olympics and remember the fans in the crowd chanting his name very clearly.

    RIP

He might not have became an elite pro but a 4-1 record aint bad, along with a Silver medal is a beautiful thing.

    RIP Marc Leduc.
