(R.I.P. Spence) Mikey Garcia Lookin' Like The Incredible Hulk (!!!)

Hearns beat Duran with power.

 

No he beat him with speed and landed clean punches. The first punch which hurt Duran was a counter left. Not a harder punch than Barkley landed on Duran in his fightin 1989, I forget the round. The punch turned Duran around completely.

 

There's no testing at all. PEDs are the name of the game in this one lol.

 

This is the Incredible Hulk? I expected more. He doesn't look like he's in great shape. Not that shape matters, Spence is just bigger, stronger and may be even faster if the extra weight slows Micky down.

I'm just not convinced that Mikey has a chance in this fight. He's getting hurt in the first few rounds.

 

I thought Mikey was going to look much pudgier but he actually looks pretty good.

 

It's not solid though. Fatigue will kick in after the 3 round under the hot ring light which will be about 90 degrees. SPENCE BY AWAY OF TKO.

The punch that knocked Duran out was pure power.

 

It was more speed. Most of Hearns knockouts were speed. On that punch Duran was already rocked and wobbling and Hearns put a jab to his body and hit him upstairs. I don't think Spence has the speed or power of Hearns. Not like that.

 

Naw, it was more power. If is was only about speed Leonard would have knocked him.

 

He looks soft.

 

well speed and leverage. But a good point.. Hearns commits when he punches, which is why sometimes leaves himself open, and Duran hit him with a couple of right hands.

 

In someways this fight will show how good Mikey really is. If he is the goods he will do well. Even going 12 but losing a close decision would be doing well.

 

And Mikey will perform. I've told people for months that, though dpence is a good fighter, fundamentally he's lacking, and Garcia will take advantage of that. Next weekend is Mikey's coming out party!
