Is Ortiz ready for this kind of heat?

    Ortiz by KO.Early.

Better boxer, huge punch and Holt's chin is very shaky.

With all the possible fights to make at 140, I'd be surprised if Ortiz's people went after Holt.

I would favor Ortiz, Holt is shakey mentally.

Still though, Holt is a good fighter, his performance against Bradley though was a letdown. Holt could have won that fight had he done more, Bradley won the fight based on Holt fighting poorly as opposed to being the much better fighter.

Ortiz needs to be tested and Holt can provide that.. Maidana brings nothing else to the table besides punching power but against somone like Holt, Ortiz would have to deal with boxing skills as well as power.

    Holt doesn't bring pressure.
Maidana is a good pressure fighter, plus he has a very good workrate especially for the first 6 rounds.

    Maidana isn't on Holt's level.

There's going to be some rough moments but Ortiz is going to handle him.

Holt would **** up Maidana easily.

I was talking about the different styles.

About their levels that's your opinion, they are on sensibly the same level only Maidana didn't win a title with a headbutt.

Maidana is pretty one dimensional and most would agree that he's a notch below Holt.

Holt is versatile and he would give ortiz much more to think about.

And no Holt is a higher caliber fighter.. FAct.. that isn't an opinion..

How many times have u seen Maidana fight anways??

FYI Holt is a former champion.. Of course he's a higher level opponent than Maidana.

Being one dimensional doesn't mean he's a notch down. How much did Holt's skills help him with Bradley when his workrate is inexsistent?

I agree Holt is more versatile but that doesn't mean he would be a better fight,I think he'd get sparked quicker.

I've seen Maidana fight a few times.

Being a former champion nowadays doesn't mean anything especially the way Holt won it.But he is more experiened at a higher level though.

holt got up when torres knocked him down, he wouldn't get up if ortiz did. holt's d isn't good enough for him to avoid getting ktfo.

I would favor Ortiz to win myself but it would be his biggest step up in competition with a boxing style he needs to fight against..

Oh no question, Holt would be a big step up from Arnaoutis.

I just think the Paulie - Diaz winner would be a safer option.
