Respect and like both boxers hugely but was looking for a Manny win.Came in from a night out worse for wear, and thought i wasnt making a good job of being unbiased as couldnt understand how Khan and Co were saying everything was going JMMs way.Had a wee siesta and 2 hours later watched the re-run with pen and paper.Ended up scoring it 115-114 for Manny, and i honestly think i was being totally unbiased although a few rounds i had a question mark after i decided whos round it was,and they were usually Mannys rounds. Its the hardest fight i have tried to score,as very few of the rounds were wide which is where bias opinions can come in.Only the ******s can say it was a robbery,as a close fight like this could have went either way as many have.I wouldnt have been screaming robbery if JMM had got the nod and for some to say Manny only had 1 or 2 rounds makes their shouts even more laughable.

First impressions is usually the accurate one John.

Rewatching a fight, you're looking at it alreadly knowing the outcome and how the fight flowed. So I can see where someone who was rooting for Pacquiao would rewatch a particular round he clearly thought was Marquez' on first viewing and come to the conclusion, "Pac did'nt get owned in that round as I originally thought."
Even a round in which one might think Marquez dominated, if Marquez was'nt your rooting interest, one might come to a way of thinking, "it was'nt as dominant a round as I originally saw it."

From my perspective, if you rewatch the fight trying to convince yourself Pacquiao coud'nt have lost that badly, then you're going to talk yourself into that.

I originally posted a 10-2 score in favor of Marquez and pointed that 2 of those rounds I acknowleadged as swing rounds that some may score for Pacquiao, the better alternative in those rounds to be fair to both would be to have them even.

Your take John about you having it much tighter on second viewing, reminds me of what Gerry Cooney once said about his fight with Larry Holmes.......

Cooney said, "everytime I watch the tape of my fight with Holmes, I keep seeing myself getting closer and closer. One of these days I'm going to pop that tape in and win this thing.":D
