TMT is getting the **** kicked out of them. They are lying to national level media. TMT's spokesperson said that no one was denied credentials. Then each media outlet responded by confirming that their reporter was in fact denied credentials. That's so pathetic.

Steve Kim had his credential pulled for the previous fight with Maidana. It is a shame as he's reported on Pacquiao before he was the superstar he is today.

Rachel Nichols is an esteemed journalist for CNN. She might not be a boxing insider, but I doubt every credentialed journalist had their boxing IQ verified.

Michelle Beadle was brought to HBO to bring a different perspective to their coverage. I'm not sure how she could have her press credential pulled. It would be like not allowing Lampley or Kellerman to cover the fight.

No matter how they spin this, it's a bad look for Mayweather. Look, they were able to take full control of the promotion, so it's their right to credential whomever they choose. However, I doubt the NFL or any other credible organization would choose this path.

The OP says that they are just there to criticize Mayweather. But they are not his PR people. They are journalists and their job isn't to promote any fight or fighter.

I get the sense that Floyd only goes with women who he pays, whether it be his prostitute girlfriends or his publicist Kelly Swanson. He always has to be in control, and since he has so much money he can pretty much get away with it.

 

I don't mean boxing journalists, I mean influential mainstream journalists. The mainstream media dictates discourse.

Floyd needs better advisors.

You can't act like you're against domestic violence, tell others not to support Floyd and then go to the fight period. As far as Steve Kim, he's a Floyd shock jock on par with Skip Bayless. It's a no brainier.
