What a fail of a thread. It seemed like an interesting idea in my head at the time, but doesnt really work
Nah, I think it's interesting and will weigh in seriously when I get a chance. I'm sure we're all anxiously awaiting PP's input on this ;-)
I'm a believer that environment makes fighters moreso than race. Given the option of going to college and completing the aforementioned "Racial Round Robin" with the co-eds, or getting punched in the face, most guys would choose the former. But obviously, you don't see a lot of great Asian (or Latino) Heavys, so physical makeup plays in to it somewhat. As for who wins the round robin, my picks: 112: Lynch (although surely Asians have some depth here) 118: Olivares/Jofre (the very best of Olivares possibly stops Harada IMO) 126: Pep 135: Duran 147: SRR/SRL 160: Monzon (won't pick someone I haven't seen but all indications are that Greb was a beast). Monzon/Hagler is nearly pick'em for me, I just think Hagler could be taken off track a tad easier. 175: Spinks/Moore/Charles, take your pick HVY: Louis/Ali/Holmes take your pick
