    I have a research paper due tomorrow. Can someone please lead me to some sources. Early 20th century stuff is cool, but I kinda wanna keep it more recent, 60s-present.

    Jack Dempsey is a good place to start. Also the separate lineage of the colored titles. The Classic Forum guys will be willing to point you in the right direction, I'm sure.

    In the 80s there were sublte examples like for instance I remember in Mancini vs Arguello, Someone said "For an italian kid, Mancini takes a good punch."

    Stuff like that I guess.

    Look into what Ali said about Frazier, and Bernard's now infamous comments like "you got to fight like a black man" (to Pavlik) and obviously "I'll never get beat by a white boy". Also, Lennox Lewis calling Frank Bruno an "Uncle Tom".
