Ha Ha Ha. It seems now equally plausible that no black fighter will ever hold the WBC heavyweight title again.

    You are in denial.

Calzaghe won 9 rounds to 3 AND turned Hopkins into a ***** rolling on the ground trying to buy time since he was gassed.

    Racism in boxing...

You ask a bunch of white guys about racism in boxing, and they will do every thing they can to overlook the systemic racism that occured for generations at a time. and some of the lasting effects... :verysad

And try to convince themselves that a few stupid comments by a few black boxers is even in the same stratosphere... just cause they were a little butthurt by them.:|

You're right. I'm in denial, to be honest. Calz won a close fight. It wasn't 9-3, but I think he edged it.

Given enough time some "people" will act as if racism is a figment of your imagination!!

Racism exist in the world, in boxing and in ESB! Its all about how you deal with it!

Black fighters in the early 20th century and before had to knock out white oponents if they ever wanted to get the decision

I read a poll that said 90% of Whites who took a census poll that said they believed there was no more racism. I'm like what world do those people who took that poll live in, the world of naivity or the land of make believe.

Why is the onus always on whites? Why are these surveys always posed to Whites as if racism was a white problem only? Can't tell you how many times I witnessed Blacks talking derisively about Whites totally in the open . Since time immemorial all groups have feared and ridiculed outside groups. Its an ego boosting ,defensive mechanism. Whites just capitalized on the idea, systemized it and built an economy out of it (other groups, even inside Africa were doing so, on a smaller scale). Can't fault them for being clever.
