To be honest, I wasn't that impressed by Kalajdzic. He should have been able to do much more, much sooner.

I hope Sullivan got paid well for that. No reason to be taking that heat at 42.

Barrera is lucky that Kalajdzic isn't a bigger puncher. That KO would have probably been far worse for him.

That was a nasty KO. Knocked him out cold. At 42 Barrera needs to hang’em up.

Absolutely, they shouldn't have allowed him to get up so early either. Beatdowns like this are extremely dangerous especially given Barrera's age and mileage.

Brutal finish. Sad to see Barrera go out like that. They've reinvented Hot Rod into a slick boxer puncher since the Beterbiev loss and whilst he did land some lovely counters at times, and was in control, he's a vicious puncher and as I was watching that I was urging him to let his hands go and punch in combination because his combos are nasty and he puts them together really well. He could've ended that much sooner had he done so.

Hot Rod is being avoided but it's crazy how Yarde has got 2 title shots and may well receive a third when Hot Rod has only had one. Hot Rod's only legit loss is Beterbiev and he should have a commanding win over Marcus Browne and even though he's not beating top guys Yarde is beating Latvian binmen. Yarde should've been facing the likes of Hot Rod to actually earn himself a shot as should the likes of Callum Smith, Buatsi etc. too but the problem is he's way too risky for all of them

    Barrera needs to retire.

Yarde is ranked #3 by the WBC, WBA, WBO and #5 by the IBF coming off a stoppage loss in his last fight

Hot Rod is only ranked by two of them and he's at #14 and #12

    I don't get it

I don't see Hot Rod as a huge challenger to the top LWH's.

That KO was brutal. Hot Rod got in a couple shots that weren't necessary but I understand that he was a full on
    killer mode.

He already got dominated by the top LHW. But I would like to see him with the likes of Bivol, Gvozdyk, Yarde, Smith, Buatsi etc. Might be able to give some of those guys good fights.

Yes. Yarde did absolutely nothing to earn either of his title shots other than beat Lyndon Arthur who is not world class and he's 1-1 against him too

Hot Rod hasn't been beating killers but, as said, the quality of the opposition Yarde has been facing has been horrendous.

Hot Rod was robbed blind against Marcus Browne in Browne's backyard, including dropping him and hurting him badly a couple of times, and had the ref not clearly been on the take and allowed Browne to hold like an octopus all night Hot Rod would've 100% knocked him out.

It's not even one of those debatable robberies because practically everyone agrees Hot Rod was robbed blind.
