Radmir Akhmediyev: The Middleweight Kazakh Knockout Of Texas-The Aggressor Of Almaty.

Radmir Akhmediyev is a 24 year old Middleweight with a 6-0 6 KO's record. Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan and fighting out of Houston, Texas. Turned pro last year and sign with Savarese Promotions along with a few other Eastern European/Eurasians who've been relocating to Texas to sign with Lou Savarese. It seems Radmir is quite the Gym Rat and is dedicated to becoming as big as his fellow countryman Gennady Golovkin, at least he has high hopes because those are some awfully big shoes to fill. He has decent fundamentals, he stalks like GGG, he follows instead of cutting off the ring, so he needs to work on that, he's decent at countering his opponents with quick hooks, he fights cautiously and is defensively responsible, so he looks pretty good against fairly limited opposition, and he seems to be heavy handed but that all could change when he gets in with better fighters. Personally I think he's trying a little too hard to be the Next GGG that he's being marketed as in Texas, and he should find his own identity, but if he's going to emulate the style of someone, he could do worse.
