This guys performance last night was insane. He got dropped hard and broke his foot in the second round. The entire venue was also pro Cuban but this guy just fought like an animal. He threw almost 1000 punches and was just unloading the entire 12th round. Last night was up there for one of the best fights this year and it’s getting over shadowed by another Haney snoozer. What are your thoughts on the new champ?
@CST80 is the only one who picked him to win here I think, so he should share his analysis Don't know much about him tbh but was impressed, glad I skipped the Haney fight for this & good that for once they didn't rob a fighter though MD is still too close for comfort
I'd seen him live twice on DAZN undercards, and was quite impressed, in spite of his quicky stoppage over Rosas, it was an utter domination. What I saw that tipped me off, is basically everything. His herky jerky upper body and head movement and ability to roll with and parry shots as well as his hard to time rhythm impressed me, the fluidity and unpredictability of his punches, his reach and ranginess as well as his ability to use his length to his advantage. The unrelenting sheer volume, the combinations, the angles, his persistent and stiff jab, vicious left hooks to the body, his uppercuts, his footwork and his balance combined with his ability to effortlessly cut the ring off is sterling. His unwavering focus combined with pinpoint accuracy. All of that combined told me, he was going to be hell for Robeisy and pretty much every other Featherweight to deal with. The only thing that was a question mark was his chin, but just based on all of the aforementioned qualities, told me, he had grit and a dogged determination to him and I knew he had levels and gears he could go to that no one has seen before, because of the four matches I'd seen, he never left 1st gear and absolutely mangled his opponents. Watch the matches, you'll see what I saw as well. Espinoza put on a very gutsy performance . I'd never seen the guy fight before and just figured he was brought in as fodder. Looking forward to seeing him again.
Yes I had £10500 on him in sprotsbook & a few bob with the bookies,I must admit had a very good night betting wise. @CST80 Knows how to pick an outsider. One of the best picks for me,last real good one was when Emanuel Navarrete battered Dogboe.
I was not paying **** for Haney vs Porgrais (watched it right now), so I watched this fight live and this kid can fight. I am a Robeisy fan and supporter, still felt that most of what Robeisy did was better, he landed the harder punches generally.... but the last round make me say that Espinoza deserved the win 100%. Guy´s workrate is incredible.
