I don't think ANYBODY ranks Pac's win over David Diaz as anything. He is a legend for coming up, beating Barrera, fighting evenly with Marquez and Morales before beating them, unexpectedly beating Oscar SO easily, Hatton SO easily, less unexpectedly but most unbelievable to me, Cotto SO easily. Diaz does not enter into the equation, its a blip on the radar like focusing on floyd's win over Brusseles. Floyd fought Gatti, Oscar, Mosley, Judah, all good wins, but he really failed to impress in the Oscar fight, whereas, in his highest profile fights, Pac HAS impressed repeatedly. Floyd says he beat Marquez easily, Pac can say he beat Oscar and Hatton easily. It doesn't mean anything until they both get in there, because Duran really almost beat Hagler and was the first title defense to the go the distance, got destroyed in two rounds by Hearns, and then Hagler had an easy time killing Hearns. Frazier-Ali-Foreman proves the same thing. These matchups need to be settled in the ring at the highest level of the sport.

Pac's resume is just slightly more spectacular than Floyd's, but Floyd's skills are clearly more solid than Pacs. That's all.

When Floyd wanted Cotto, Cotto was like just around 23-0 and only 24 years old. Wow...pretty ballsy challenge from a guy who had been a world champ for a decade right?

It's one of his "record 8 division championships" isn't it? *******s spout that nonsense every chance they get.

A prime Chavez (at 130/135/140) would be all over Floyd like a severe case of syphilis..Banging at his body, cutting off the ring, and breaking him down piece by piece. At 147, when Julio was way past it, theres no argue that Floyd takes it.

Tito at 147 KTFO Floyd, period.

    Tito, JCC > Castillo x 10

WTF is this thread about? Gayweather has proven shits at welterweight. He ran from Baldomir, got knockdowned by Judah and almost KOed by a past it Mosley.

Funny you say he "ran" from Baldomir but then when the Mosley fight was signed you said there is nothing wrong with Floyd putting on his tracK suit and potshotting.

Yet you bring it up now and you are bringing it up as a negative yet you claimed there was nothing with it before.

Reading is fundamental. I said that the Diaz win represents one of Pussyao's record 8 division championships, and people spout that 8 division rhetoric all of the time. Diaz was low hanging fruit and the weakest of the division as was Cotto, but Cotto was further hindered by a catchweight. Marg would have been the weakest of his division but he had never fought there before and somehow got a title shot... at a catchweight. :tired

Floyd would never even had tried fighting Tito. I do think he can outbox him, but he wouldn't want to take the risk.
