Floyd beats Trinidad. Trinidad barely touches him. Floyd beats Chavez (badly). End of thread.

Floyd would likely beat Tito at 147, but he damn sure isn't toying with him. He gets crushed at 154. Peak Chavez beats him by decision everytime as well.

Come on....Chavez at welter??? At welter Chavez' chances of beating Floyd are slim to none, at LWW it's closer at LW and JLW Chavez has a good chance.

Tito vs Floyd, hard to gauge since Floyd has fought no one even remotely close to Tito's size/speed in their prime at welter

Floyd stands a chance at outboxing him a la De La Hoya....this ones a 50/50 for me

at 135 Chavez has a chance??? at 135 there is only ONE possible outcome for this fight and that's Chavez beating Floyd's ass.

I thought it was funny Rafael mentioned the Whitaker fight. Chavez was years past his absolute peak and above his prime weight. That sort of comparison is what ignorant posters on here make.

Fat Dan is usually critical of everyone at some point but people seem to ignore that. If oscar could out box Tito then why shouldn't Floyd?

Maybe, Mayweather has the skills to outbox Trinidad, but would he be able to apply them for 12.. he certainly would be in survival mode if Tito is able to hurt him like Mosley did.. Tito was a whole different kettle of fish at welter than an old Mosley, Baldomir, a bloaded Marquez, and Hatton. We saw how Mayweather was very timid and did not look all that great the only time he fought someone visibly stronger than him, in eeking out an SD win over an old and rusty De La Hoya at 154. As for Chavez, Castillo comparison has already been mentioned, and that fight could very well look like Mayweather-Castillo I

Not really. The person asked who would win at WELTERWEIGHT. Chavez and Whitaker fought at welter, so it makes sense why he said that.

dude read again I said a good chance. meaning there's a high likelyhood of him winning. :patsch

I don't see one possible outcome....Chavez had what 5-6 fights at lightweight? Floyds best weight was 130 and 135 was arguably his second best. A mover with the technical skills Floyd has will always be a tough fight for Chavez at any weight.

that's a possibility but hard to gauge since Floyd's never been hit by anyone with Trinidads power. So far his chin has passed the test with flying colors against many heavy handed fighters but there's no way for us to know if he'd take Tito's shots like he took Mosley's.

I agree that Rafaels an idiot and both these fights are hell for Mayweather (well not chavez at welter but chavez below welter) but they're also both winnable.
