said it on his chat and also on espn boxing site. god, i hope this isnt true. i dont want to see that mismatch again
I sure do bro:bbb Maidana was given ZERO chance out here even when facing AB.....I, along with others, said he would knock AB down and also give Floyd some issues..... Let's do this ONE MORE TIME:good:hey :smoke
I'd rather see Floyd face Pac, Thurman or Porter, but Maidana still did FAR better than anyone expected of him, so I guess he somewhat deserves to get a rematch, even if the fight wasn't as close as some make it out to be, or worse, think Maidana actually won
It makes sense. They'll be more hype for the fight, so more $$$. And Floyd should be confident of doing better in the rematch. Not that I don't think Maidana will make improvements either. It's a good fight and will sell. And of course it will be in Floyd's hometown, with his hometown judges and on his home network. And the fight will have the added benefit for Floyd of keeping away the real threats in the division for a little while longer. So win-win all the way around for TBE.
Not with Garcia Matthysse II or Matthysse Broner on the undercard...although they should be the main fight...
If the ppv sales arent very good and from all early indications they arent i would not expect a rematch. Id look for floyd Garcia or possibly the winner of canelo/Lara.
I'd love to see this rematch. Make it in November and have a super undercard with canelo, and another big Latin name, maybe chocalatito as the opener. It would sell
