Yes, he is an attractive opponent for Adamek, considering that McBride is a nobody, shot to ****, lost like 5 out of his last 6 fights. A low risk tune-up before a $5 million guaranteed payday for Adamek. I completely agree that McBride is very attractive for Adamek. Doesn't mean that the fight or the matchup is attractive for boxing fans, quite to the contrary. I don't see where Rafael says this is a great matchup for boxing fans or where he commends Adamek for handpicking an ultra low-risk, shot and disgraceful opponent?

Hey Thomspon is a southpaw! Seriously, anyone who thinks Adamek should take on a more dangerous opponent for a tune-up right before a guaranteed $5 million payday needs to get their head checked. Guys like Peter, Thompson heck even Rahman would be way too dangerous for Adamek at this point. He already has a high risk fight coming up against one of the brothers, why play with fire when its all signed and sealed.

This fight would not be allowed to take place in the UK. If Adamek is only confident of fighting a guy above 200 in the World Rankings, he shouldn't be fighting for a world title.

It's just a stay busy fight while he waits for one of the Klitschkos at the end of the summer. Some will say he could find a better opponant, and indeed he could, but why take a risk against someone who could pull an upset on him and **** up his big title fight? It's paid target practice really.
