Former champion Rafael Marquez was presented with three names for his comeback in the next few months. Marquez plans to return in March and then wants to have a big fight in the summer. He recently met with co-promoter, Zanfer, and he discussed three possible opponents - WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, WBA/IBF featherweight champiuon Yuriorkis Gamboa and WBC super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka, who may move up to featherweight.

I'd love Nishioka just as much as Gamboa. I'd rather see a Lopez rematch in early 2012 if he were to make it past the mentioned. With his age and at this weight, no guarantee Marquez can do that.

Agree about Nishioka! That would be a very fight! Dont want to see Marquez against a young killer anymore. Nishioka is an excellent fighter and I would pick him to win but with Marquez u know he would have a fight on his hands.

Am I the only who thinks Rafa would have a really good chance against Gamboa?
