his right hand workrate dramatically dropped in his last round, that right there was a definite sign.

    I hope he recovers strongly

How smart of him to go into the ring fighting JML with a hairline fracture on his shoulder. lol.

Well I hope he gets better soon.

You could tell his right was disable, he was depending only of left hooks-
i even told people around me while the fight was on...why doesnt he follow with his straight right?, he wasnt faking, that's for sure.

I wish him a speedy recovery. He's one of my favourite fighters and hopefully he can come back strongly and score another few big victories before he retires.

It's ridiculous that some idiots were saying he faked it - he's more than proven what kind of fighter he is over the years.

Thanks for posting this up. I'm used to hearing so many excuses, it's kinda hard to know when someone is being truely honest.

I told you guys. You had all sorts of posters saying he took the easy way out.

When the hell has Rafa ever done that? Knowing that he came into that fight with an injury im pretty sure in a rematch it could be a different story. Very good rematch to make in a year. I really doubt it though. Too risky at that time for JML.

If anyone was stunned in this fight it was actually JML. Rafa was taking punishment but never actually did a chicken dance.

Damn it! what a win that would have been for Rafa.

I hope he recovers, I never doubted Rafa's heart.

  11. this just proves how much better marquez is than lopez. he almost beat him with a fractured shoulder.

Winning 1 round after losing the rest is close? Interesting. Not wanting to be stopped because of a minor hairline fracture with only 3 rounds left is an excuse. Look at 41 year old Brett Favre, 3 fractures in his foot, arthritis in his hand, fractured thumb, smashed right in his jaw taken out on a stretcher..don't see him quitting or wanting to stop the inevitable.
