Those 3 fights finished their career.I hope they were well compensated financially. They shoul get a percentage of that trilogy.

Unfortunately this happens a lot to Mexican fighters. Many of them in fights you don't even get to see because they didn't mean nothing. At least these two gentlemen were in an important fight. That rarely happens with american fighters, including Puerto Ricans. WHY THIS HAPPENS????? BECAUSE MANAGERS AND AUTHORITIES DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FIGHTERS OVER THERE. OF COURSE ITS VERY EXCITING!!!!! BUT BOXING IS MUCH MORE THAN WALK FORWARD AND TRADE BLOWS.

When its a fight as important as Izzy and Vazquez was, and getting paid what they deserve, I say its ok. They know what they are getting into. But boxers need to be protected when they are young and coming up. Risks have to be limited sometimes.

the best thing for the two is to fight in the same card w/ different opponent. Say Rafa will go for Darchi and Izzy for Caballero or Penalosa. This fights are a good PPV material. Whoever showed scintillating and invigoration will earn a ticket for JuanMa.

Sad news. It's a shame to see these two great boxers get so damaged from their three wars. Hope their condition is only temporary.

Your hate and/or ignorance is not gonna help your fighters, just so you know, flaco!! And yeah, PDL has fought himself better comp than RM AND IZZY... BTW, he(PDL) lasted 12 full rds. against C.Caballero, who i'm guessing would last the 12 or maybe WIN against a ny of your two fighters!!!:hey

His career is probably over. He is now what 33-34? At least he went out with a bang with those trilogy against vazquez.

Damn, their trilogy was one of the best ever! For their non-stop aggressive styles they had amazing skill.
