Who do you favor in this match up? 2 boxer punchers, one the harder hitter, and the other more technically savvy. Would Davila be able to exploit the defensive flaws in Marquez without getting dropped, or would Marquez eventually catch up to Davila with a big punch and stop him much like Zarate? Fun match up. Could see Rafael doing enough damage to pull a late round stoppage over Davila IMO.
Davilas 15 round experience, great opposition and super combos win the day. Nobody fought a better bunch of fighters than Alberto in his career.
Hard one. Marquez looked more complete to me, but then again: I've seen more of him. Davilla could bang, but so could Vásquez. Márquez would split a series similarly with Davilla imo, he ain't no Zárate, that's for sure! I tend to think that Rafa would beat Davilla on points in a one off, but all sorts of **** could happen in a series.
